never again

When we arrived we were not sure how to get in signs should have been removed from old days  We visited this site years ago and it was good then ,but not now the other caravaner said he had to wait for grass to be cut,the recycling was disgraceful ,about 30 bottles on ground before getting to bins which were covered in bird poo,and the toilet emptying wont discuss that, what a shame .

Fair site fee

We stayed for a long weekend arriving Friday leaving Monday which was when we heard our first bit of traffic always a plus point. The welcome is good & site is very pleasant.Entrance is gated but set well back from the road & with wide easy access.Good space between pitches & a large site for a CL. Local pub a 5 min walk over the stream past the church & over the green (no food) but nice welcome, you need to go to Thornham Magna Four Horseshoes 10 min in the car for good food. A number of bridleways & footpaths for those with a four legged friend. Yes well worth the site fee.

A Fortnight in Finningham

We stayed at this delightful CL for two weeks in August 2014. The site is large being split into two separate parts divided by a line of trees giving privacy and a pleasant outlook. Sonia and Kevin are very friendly, helpful and a thoroughly nice couple. Finningham is a pretty, quiet village with a local pub and a mile bike ride away is a fantastic village shop at Gislingham.

Fantastic CL - On my favourite list!

Aug 2014 Great CL which is level with easy access and is very well kept. Site has two halves separated by tall hedging & has mature trees and hedging on boundary, farmland is on 2 sides. It is a lovely location and very peaceful with some occasional but not intrusive train noise. Owner is very friendly. Great walk to White Horse pub (10 minutes) turning right out of drive, then left down lane thru church yard following road to junction where your turn right to end of road, landlords are very friendly but were new & not doing food at time of visit. Take time to visit Four Horseshoes Pub at Thornham Magna (chocolate box type about 3 miles away) great beer & food! This CL is on my favourites list! :o)

Happy Days

We stayed at this site over Easter 2014. This is a secure, level, peaceful, close mown site, surrounded by mature trees and hedges. The site is large and divided into two with a row of trees, plenty of room so as not to be on top of other caravans. There is occasional train noise but after a day you do not notice it. The site is tucked away near a small village behind the owners home. Water and toilet emptying facilities are easily accessed. The owners are pleasant and helpful. The site fee is now £10 a night but still good value, although the website shows £9.

Peaceful CL

We spent 4 nights at this CL over the August Bank Holiday Weekend. It is a lovely CL, lots of space in 2 areas, the grass was cut short and had been collected up. The site is surrounded by trees with lots of birds to watch. Very clean and so peaceful, it is set back behind the owners property and has a locked gate making this a very secure CL set in the lovely Suffolk countryside. Electric, water and chemi emptying point all for £9 a night. A delightful stay we will return.
