Wonderful Christine!

This is a beautifully organized and extremely friendly site, owned and supervised by Christine. We were visiting a sick relative nearby and were is need of calm and serenity. We found it here. The site is clean and friendly and dog-friendly, overseen by two portly sheep, Good food and service at The Four Horseshoes. Visited Eye, which is charming, and has an Arts Centre and space. The Castle is amusing..

Wonderful CL everything you need for a relaxing stay.

This site is immaculately kept with everything you need for a wonderful relaxing stay The owner Mrs Moore is really helpful and friendly and took the time to show us where all the facilities were. Hand sanitizer stations have been provided all around the site, with neat Recycling bins and the amount of birds and wildlife around are fantastic to see. We loved the pet sheep who are beautifully cared for, who live in the next field, it’s amazing to see them relaxing nearby. We took a walk to a thatched church, which is very ancient and also to Thornham walks which you can park at all day for £2 and spend the day having a picnic or ( there’s also a cafe ) walking around the forest. We will definitely be returning as it’s such a beautiful site plus there’s so much to see in the area Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fabulous Site

This is a beautifully kept site set in the most peaceful area. There are superb local walks in the country and around Thornham Park which are very dog friendly. It is a short drive to Eye where you find lovely pubs, restaurants and shops. The site is run by the a very friendly and welcoming owner, Mrs Moore, she makes the most perfect host. Everything is about relaxing and enjoying yourself so there are no hard and fast rules. We went for a weekend away with friends and can't recommend this site enough. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Visiting friends

Had a lovely 5 night break at this lovely quiet CL. Great area to visit many places. There are some great off road walks in the woods, fields and open spaces to walk dogs. We did 3 mile walks quite easily and so quiet. Great effort made by Christine the Cl is kept perfect and she is a lovely host.

A great place to stay.

We had a short mid week break here in May and were very impressed with the site and surroundings. Easy access, nice and quiet and a very friendly owner. Great for dog walking in the nearby Thornham Woods. Will definitely return!

Ideal break

We have just returned from spending four nights at Tandem House after a recommendation on a Facebook group for dog walking. Lovely owners, a beautiful garden alongside the grassy pitching area and well thought out access through wide double gates. Great to have Wi-Fi and enjoyed watching the wildlife around us. We will keep this site in mind for future short breaks, many thanks Christine for letting us stay! Sue, John and furry Oscar.

Relaxing Easter

Great little find , close to main roads but still gave the feel of being in the middle of the countryside. Waking up to the pheasants calling and sheep bleeting, oh and partridge running down the road. Owners very welcoming and happy to help. A lovely site without a lot of rules. Will definitely book again.

Peacefull overnight stop

Stayed at this charming little site overnight after a friends birthday party in a nearby village. Lovely level field with electric hook ups. The site has easy access from the A140. Mrs. Moore was very welcoming and gave us a useful information leaflet on the area. There is even free wifi - something of a rarity! The Bull Auberge restaurant with rooms is a couple of minutes walk up the lane towards the main road. Thoroughly recommend.

Well worth a visit

We have just enjoyed a weekend at Tandem House where we were greeted by the lovely owner, Christine, who couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. The site is a short distance from the busy A140, however we felt as if we were miles from anywhere. The pretty, small town of Eye is a pleasant 2 mile cycle away and Diss six miles away. There are also miles of country lanes to walk or cycle around with several places to eat and drink nearby. The poor 'Peace and Tranquility' rating is only because Christine had to mow the grass before her next visitors arrived on the pitch and she did this whilst we were having our evening meal outside. Also on the Sunday, a nearby meadow was being mowed which lasted most of Sunday morning. They both apologised for the disturbance and we certainly wouldn't let this put us off coming here again. Overall a wonderful CL site and well worth a visit.

May Escape

Excellent site, just as described, even including the friendly sheep, Christine made everyone very welcome. I booked at short notice and managed to get a short (4day) break in, and catch up with all my old Suffolk friends and neighbours, whilst having a stressfree stay, apart from a flat battery (my fault), but another caravaner came to my aid with his battery charger. Strongly recommended well maybe not too strongly or it will be oversubscribed!
