One Night Stop - We Will Definitely Return

An immaculate site which has clearly been set up to the highest standards. Angus gave us a great welcome and is clearly proud of the site, which is well located for touring. He even offered to drive us (and our dogs) to a nearby eatery! Nearby walks and easy access to them, overall a site definitely worthy of returns. Julie made a point of introducing herself before we left, this is a quality CL.

Two Night Stop

Second stop on our journey up to the Highlands. Great CL just off A9 , NC500. Very welcoming friendly owners . Decent pitches with water. Good free wifi. Access to good dog walks, but owners have a small enclosed area for dogs to play too. Very short drive to Asda and Kildary Loch lovely to walk round. Didnt have time to visit beach but owners says lovely sandy beach 3 miles away. Had excellent take away food from Shandwick Inn 5 mins drive away. Highly recommended for anyone needing a stop off on NC500 or even a bit longer stay. One thing that may annoy some with being on A9 there is some road noise but TBH didnt bother us, thats why marked down for peace and tranquility. The Old School House CL Invergordon. — at The Old School House

Good site if travelling the NC500 route

We stayed here for one night whilst travelling in the area. Although we were not following the NC500 route, this site is directly on the A9 route. and makes for an ideal stop off. It is accessed from the main road and is subject to some traffic noise but this did not bother us at night. We received a warm welcome from friendly site owners and some initial set up problems were resolved swiftly. Each pitch has access to individual EHU and water points which is very handy. The pitches are quite flat and needed minimal levelling. We don't have a dog but if you do there is a nice exercise field for it! The chemical waste disposal and grey water disposal facilities are very good, appear newly installed and very clean. Each point has separate hose/ cleansing facility

Lovely site

This is a small well kept site. Lovely surroundings and friendly owners. There is traffic noise from the A9 but it drops off at night and didn't bother us during the day. Plenty to do in the area so worth staying more than 1 night.

Warm welcome at The Old School House

We stayed at the Old School House for one night on our way to the Orkney ferry. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and we'd recommend this CL. The site itself is lovely, plenty of space, flat pitches, and good facilities. You look out onto fields and woodland. Of particular interest to dog owners is a large fenced dog play area. The site is accessed directly from the main road, which is very convenient but means there is a bit of road noise. The pitches are far enough from the road that this didn't disturb us overnight.
