We visited this site many years ago and found it largely unchanged last week. Two acres of available well kept paddock space to ourselves. The peace and quiet was very welcome. We had hares passing by and under our caravan every evening. Flycatchers, green woodpeckers and many others to watch. My husband had the museum curator all to himself one day and was brimming with information when he finally came back to the van. There is Coningsby (home of the BBMF) and East Kirby Airfield (home to 'Just Jane' Lancaster) just up the road for any aircraft lovers. The owners were welcoming and helpful. We will be going back sooner rather than later.
