Fantastic CL

Just stayed 2 nights at this super CL and will definitely return. Both Grant and Rachel are really welcoming and friendly. Toilet and shower spotlessly clean. Large level grass pitches all with electric hook up. Ideal site fo visiting Chester and exploring the Wirral. We highly recommend this lovely CL.

Excellent CL

Me,the wifey and my 3 children have just stayed at this excellent CL . Rachel,Grant and the family were very very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We found the location and facilities excellent. There's a very clean toilet block which has a great shower and 2 toilets etc. The pitches are grassed and very spacious with plenty of room for family fun/games. The wifi is also excellent and works very well for streaming sky go and other apps. We will definitely be returning to this excellent CL in a very peaceful and beautiful part of England.

Good base for exploration

We have just spent 9 days on this CL. It is a good base from which to explore the area and all it has to offer; we have still not exhausted all there is to see, do and visit in the wider area. The CL is grassed and kept short with plenty of pitch space. There is a very clean free shower/loo available. The WiFi is free and excellent too. The owners Rachel and Grant and wider family are very friendly and helpful indeed. We enjoyed several walks along the canal which is easily accessed through the farm across a field (which our two dogs enjoyed running through freely) to the stile directly onto the tow path. Left takes you to Tattenhall Marina (5 min walk) and right to the Shady Oak pub (40 min walk - Dog friendly) situated right on the canal. (Good basic grub and very friendly host.) Another recommendation from Rachel and Grant (CL owners) was the Pheasant Inn (5 min drive - Very dog friendly), this elevated pub has superb far reaching views over the Cheshire plains. The food was very good and there was plenty of seating both inside and out. We look forward to returning to this CL in the future.

new CL

Having spent the night at this new CL we found the situation and facilities excellent. The owners were more than helpful with a warm welcome from both themselves and their children. The site is in an excellent position for visits to the local attractions, we particularly liked the ruralness but also being close to Chester and the shopping at Cheshire Oaks. We shall return.
