We stayed here for 3 nights and the weather was horrendous for one of those nights but it really didn’t deter us from enjoying the lovely views and the friendly and welcoming vibe to this site. The staff were all lovely and worked hard to look after the site. We would definitely stay over here for a couple of nights here again. There is so much to see and do nearby. Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, Alnwick. Locally the Spittal Food Store sells the most amazing freshly baked on the premises, steak pies, scotch pies, quiches, sausage rolls and bread rolls. The Berwick Shellfish Company on Dock Road also sells to the public and they do fantastic seafood platters.
