Good for families

Bridport Bingham Grange

We have stayed here previously and enjoyed it's peace and tranquility and on our most recent visit from 21st to 25th May very little had changed although we did see C&MC people walking around with clipboards! My concern is that it wasn't "broke" but the C&MC are going to spoil it by "fixing" it! From our perspective, the site was pretty much near perfect and has already been changed for the worse by the decision to remove the "Adults only" restriction. Presumably, the next stage will be a childrens' play area and children in the small restaurant. I'm not anti - children. We took our three caravanning and will be taking the grandchildren as soon as they're old enough but the option to go somewhere decent, where there are no children, was really appreciated.

Would you really and truly expect the club not to bring the site into line with others? From the club's point of view, it was 'broke'.

There are other AO Sites are out there.

To be honest Gilbo,  I suspect that, outside of school holidays, there will be very, very few children on that site using a possible play area, restaurant or any other facilities come to that! wink

And you know this how?

I’d have thought that was as plain as the nose on your face.

Did it match the other sites operated by the club?  No. Therefore, from the club’s point of view - and those are the key words - it needed fixing.
