Pleasant October break

We stayed for a week in mid October, we had one day of rain , the rest of the week was cold, clear with lots of sunshine. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful wardens. Although this isn’t a typical CMC site that doesn’t detract from anything. The plots are allocated and we had a fully serviced pitch which was excellent. Our car was parked in front of the caravan, but as we don’t sit for hours and hours in the caravan this didn’t bother us, in fact we saw some amazing sunsets when we did sit in the caravan. The toilet facilities are also different from typical club sites, some ‘ private’ bathrooms and unisex. As most of our caravanning is, in normal years , in France we were not concerned by this. There is a very good dog walk, with access to a river which our dog loved! The recycling/ rubbish was central, ( on our part of the site) this meant that the wardens didn’t have to drive around and walked around so we could chat as they walked by our caravan. My only criticism and this applies to all CMC sites, is that WiFi isn’t included in the cost of the stay and has to be paid for separately. Incidentally on this site it wasn’t the standard Club WiFi. As most people these days use WiFi on a daily basis and younger members ‘live’ on their phones/tablets / iPads surely the Club should now be including this in the cost of the stay. Would definitely stay again
