Stayed overnight on our way down to Cornwall. Usual high standard during our short stay.
I would recommend that site has better signposting though. From the main road that's sweeps round to the left you have to turn right onto a side road. That would be an ideal spot for a sign. When driving on this road there is a left turn onto Hurn Lane which initially looked as if I was turning onto a track. Again would benefit by another sign.
A surprisingly quiet site.
We have used this site before as a stop off between Carlisle and Cornwall. Despite being totally surrounded by statics and chalets, the site itself is quiet, spacious and secluded - a real haven. The beach is a short walk away across sand dunes and there is a bus service to Burnham and Weston. We found the latter very disappointing and run down, the only redeeming feature was a wonderful artisan bakery which had Cheese and Marmite bread. Burnham though is much nicer and we have enjoyed walking back from Burnham along the beach.
The only negative is the minute dog walk - the wardens did apologise for it.
Otherwise, a great site..

Spotlessly clean
We have stayed at this site for many years,
The staff are all very welcoming, there is a new couple this year who are super friendly,
They always have time for you,
The site is spotlessly clean as always,
We were sad this summer to see they have taken the bins away in a few areas,
And found out to our sadness that it has discouraged people to recycle,
Which has always up to now been very good,
Even though the facilities are less the price did not reflect this! 😢
Helpful and welcoming
We have been staying on this site for many years, there is something about this place that attracts the very best wardens. And is no surprise to us that the current wardens Toni and Mick and Monika and Julian are no exception. They are kind and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The site is very well looked after. We shall be returning soon.
Nice site
I only had a one night stopover here but the facilities were great, nice hot and clean showers, clean toilets and nice flat pitches.
I was greeted with a friendly welcome after calling ahead to let them know I may be late.
This was my first visit to a Caravan & Motorhome site, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised and would be happy to use this site again.
Peaceful site with the best facilities we've ever seen
We stayed here for one night on 16 June, on our way back to Cambridge from Cornwall. It is a lovely, quiet site down a country lane just outside Burnham on Sea. We had a grass pitch, which was plenty big enough for our campervan. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the site is very well maintained overall. The toilet/shower/washing up facilities are the best we've come across in the UK - modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. Burnham on Sea has seen better days, but the beach is wide and sandy (no dogs 1 May to 31 September) and there is a smattering of shops and amusements. We ate at The Esplanade Fish & Chip Restaurant, which was excellent - as good as we've had anywhere.
Lovely peaceful and clean site
As previously mentioned by other members this is a lovely peaceful and well maintained site. Short walk to the dog friendly beach and facilities. A Morrisons shop and a couple of bars/cafes also within walking distance. The staff are all very helpful and a good little on site shop which was ideal. There is a great on site food place that opens twice a day and has a good and varied menu. The cod was absolutely amazing and everything is cooked fresh to order. We only stayed for a weekend but we really enjoyed it.
Beautiful site. Lovely staff.
Hurn Lane is in a great location less than a 15 minute walk to the sandy beach....dogs are allowed. Ours loved it! It is ideal for Burnham on sea. 30 mins to Bristol.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful....some of the nicest we've met over the past 17 years. One had to deal with a noisy dog on site and dealt with it in a professional and reasonable manner. Another dealt with a toilet issue very promptly. The site was clean and well kept. We appreciated having the little shop as so many have now disappeared. The food van was on site nearly every day...Jumbos Burgers & Baps. This was a godsend. They were friendly. The portions were generous and the price was reasonable. We had no criticisms of the site at all. Really enjoyed our week. Many Thanks!

My better half and I had the pleasure of staying at Hurn Lane over the past 4 days/nights. I can add no more to what has already been said as there are no negative reviews. Lovely site and great welcoming site managers. Will be back.
