This was our first visit and certainly won't be our last , so much to do in the area from River Boat cruises , Heritage Steam Railways and lovely country side walks . I can recommend doing the "Round Robin" which is a circular day trip by River Cruise to Dartmouth , take the passenger ferry across to Kingswear and pick up the steam train up to Paignton and then join the open top bus back to Totnes . Totnes has a very good selection of shops , pubs and eating establishments as well as a Morrisons all within easy walking distance . Something to bare in mind is the site does not have EHU but if you have sufficient solar power its not a problem . We only have a single 110amp leisure battery and a 200 watt freestanding solar panel and in the 7 nights we were on site our battery never dropped below 75% and that included watching a 2-3 hours of TV most night . The Toilet block is a bit dated but the wardens keep it very clean and there is plenty of hot water for showering and at the dish washing sinks . We will definitely return
