YES, WE WILL BE BACK

Our visit came towards the end of our holiday and we were in the mood for relaxing and as it so happened this was the right place at the right time. The area is idyllic and beautiful (photo 1), but don’t be fooled Tipperary town does not match it so don’t put that on your ‘bucket list’. We arrived at reception (photo 2) and received a warm welcome and explanation to the facilities of the site and after parking up we had a look around before deciding on a grass pitch (photo 3) with a lovely view from the awning (photo 4). The hard standing pitches (photo 5) are well placed too. There is a brand new looking amenities block that houses a games room, TV room, campers kitchen, laundrette (with reasonable prices - €3 for a wash and €1 for tumble dry), toilets and showers. The three cubicles and two showers might struggle to cope with high season demand but both (photos 6 and 7) are impeccably clean (although the toilets would benefit from a quick fill flush) and the showers are free with a plentiful hot water to enjoy. A surprising added bonus was the free Wi-Fi that extended to each individual site with a strong signal, which is just as well, as being in a valley the television signal is not great. Isn’t television download just great. There is no on-site shop, so get supplies in before you arrive, but there is a quaint Irish pub just 500 yards down the road! This is a really lovely quiet pleasant site, well looked after and maintained and one that we most definitely will be looking forward to returning to.
