Relaxing site

Some confusion saying our booking had been cancelled we could not be sure if the site or the caravan club were responsible but the staff were amazing and said they had a pitch for us. The pitches are large and well spaced. Clean washrooms but sadly no soap to wash your hands, cold in the showers as there are no doors from the outside elements. No hair drying facility. We were near the park area we did not have children with us but it was not noisy. A lovely pool and changing facilities. We ate a nice meal in the pool restaurant although the prices for drinks was different each night. A 30 minute walk to the town which was beautiful with a lot to look at and shops to browse in. Very quiet at night and very few people in the bar at night. Dissapointing that it states it is set around a chateaux but this is not an area accessible to campers. We will definitely return to this site and recommend it. There were trampolines and an inflatable free for campers to use. Helpful staff.

Wonderful site

Very spacious site with secluded pitches and very clean facilities. Exceptional restaurant (5*) should not be missed. Very good position for walking (20 mins) or cycling (10 mins) into Quimper. Swimming pool is a 5 minute walk from the main pitches but this helps with seclusion on pitches.

Lovely site

We stayed for 7 nights in July and very much enjoyed this beautiful site.  The only thing that would have improved our stay is a sunnier pitch.  We were able to move to a slightly sunnier pitch than we had been allocated, but there was still more shade than we would have liked. I made a note of the pitches we will request if we visit this site again!  We appreciated the very large pitch with high hedges between each as well as the peace and quiet. Restaurant was excellent and we ate there on two occasions.  There is a lovely Aquaparc.  The Epicerie serves breakfast or one can pick up bread ordered the day before.  Locronan is a must for a day's outing.

Lovely peaceful site but facilities not open much

We had a very nice stay here in June. The pitches , we were also on P , were spacious with lots of trees and shrubs and you are able tosite your van and awning however you like, most people going sideways to get full advantage of the sunshine. There are lovely walks around the grounds and about 45 minute walk into the centre of Quimper. Our only gripe, as per other reviewers, is that most of the facilities are only partly open. The restaurant seems very busy at lunchtime as is the French way but only open Fri, Sat and Sun evenings. We did however have a very nice and reasonably priced meal here. There is also a bar, snack bar which had a menu advertising pizzas on the bar but not a jot of food available at lunchtime. These are adjacent to a really lovely pool area and could be so much better than they are at present

A Wonderful Stay :) :)

We visited the site in June 2015 booked via the CC. The site also accepts ACSI. Note that the weather had been dry and was warm and sunny. We booked a 'superior pitch' which had water and drainage and were shown to area 'P' which is closer to the main WC/Shower block and has fewer trees so is better for sunshine! The on site staff were very nice and helpful, the facilities were very well maintained/cleaned, as were the pitches and landscape. The site has a wonderful pool complex, and bar, and small golf course (9 holes - most of which are Par 3's). The grounds are superb to enjoy in evenings, you can fish at high tide from the boundary, and there is also a small canal/pond. There are play areas for children (none with us) who would also enjoy this site. We would recommend that if booking - request a sunny pitch if that is what you want, and hope they are not all taken. Enjoy :)

Disappointing visit

This is the third time we have been to this site and to say it was not what we expect from a Caravan Club site.  Everything was closed, no Bar, Shop, Pool, Internet and Restaurant/ Take away only open in the lunch hour.  The site was overgrown and we felt that they should not be open until the facilities were in place. We booked a service pitch but were directed to a ordinary pitch as the electricity and water were off. We moved on not staying 7days to Chateau Les Eaux. Fabulous site and wished were had gone earlier. Had had a wonderful time in the Loire with all facilities open including a pool heated to 78 deg.  Take this off the books until they consider it worth having caravan club members until like the rest of France they give free internet and better facilities.
