We spent 2 weeks here and really had a great time. The site is about 45 minutes drive from Cherbourg and an easy site to get to. Our welcome was a very warm one from the reception staff. Pitch was allocated, each pitch is individual with hedge around for privacy. There are 2 toilet blocks with washing up facilities inside and out. The showers are free and the water is very hot which is nice. Blocks are cleaned 3 times a day. There is a shop which sells fresh baguettes and other stuff. There is s bar open for a couple of hours in low season but longer during high season. There is also made to order pizza thin cut but very delicious.There is a snooker table and tv room for the kids. There is an indoor heated pool and outdoor pool very popular with kids. There is an information room also. The site is over the road from the beach and dogs can be exercised on here. We found the site easy place for visiting D-Day landing beaches and even went down to Pegasus Bridge. Bayeux is also accessible from here. A visit to Barfleur is a must and you can climb the lighthouse. I would definitely recommend this site and would definitely return in the future.
