Good for families

Ok once on site.

Five nights here end of Dec 16; the drive to it is very uninspiring, passing the usual acres of poly tunnels interspersed with scrubland, or national park, depending on your nationality. You need to be stout of foot if you like walking, or have a capable bike to explore. Nothing very stimulating to seeing the immediate area, but San Jose 10 mins in a car, or Almeria 50 mins. Close to small typical beach of course dark sand/pebbles. Reception staff very good, small shop - no camping supplies. Fresh bread. Fixed rice menu in bar/restaurant good value. Facilities quite good and clean, no single wash cubicles. Site electric points good 3 pin. And taps on each pitch BUT DON'T USE THESE TAPS FOR DRINKING, or you will be spending time in the facilities. Use specified taps around the site for drinking water fills. Good atmosphere on site with mix of nationalities. Nice backdrop with hills and mountains but couldn't be described as anything more. Neighbour fused his roof mounted sat dish on overhead netting over each pitch. Mostly level pitches with fine gravel all over. We would use it again in winter.
