The Caravan and Motorhome Club named as a FIA Region I Champion of the FIA Innovation Challenge 2026

The Caravan and Motorhome Club has been announced as an FIA Region I Champion of the FIA Innovation Challenge 2026, recognised for Lizzie, its AI-powered digital assistant transforming how members discover and plan stays across the great outdoors.
The accolade was revealed at the FIA Region I Spring Meeting in Budva, Montenegro, where the Club was named one of three Region I Champions across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Developed to make campsite discovery easier, more personal and more inspiring, Lizzie is a lifelike, conversational AI assistant that helps members find destinations tailored to their interests, hobbies and preferred facilities, anytime, anywhere. Initially launched as a voice agent, Lizzie will soon provide instant booking links through WhatsApp, bringing seamless planning directly to members’ phones.
The recognition places the Caravan and Motorhome Club alongside leading mobility organisations worldwide and reflects a strategic shift towards proactive, personalised digital services - ensuring the Club continues to lead the way in modern, member-focused innovation.

With 34 submissions from across Europe, Africa and the Middle East - more than double last year’s total of 15 projects - the recognition highlights the growing role of Member Clubs such as the Caravan and Motorhome Club in driving innovation, developing practical solutions that support individuals and businesses with safer, more sustainable and more affordable mobility.
The Caravan and Motorhome Club joins the Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC, Germany) and the Automobile Association of Tanzania (AA, Tanzania) as FIA Region I Champions. A global judging panel will now select one Global Winner, to be announced at the FIA General Assemblies Week in Shanghai in December.
