Centres privacy notice

The purpose of this privacy notice is to provide the members who have joined or wish to join a Centre with information about how a Centre will process their personal data. To find out how the Club processes personal data please visit: www.camc.com/privacy-policy/

Personal details of currently registered members are held by Centre Committee members and are for the sole purpose of communicating Centre business such as notifying members of forthcoming activities and Centre related news. We feel it is considered a legitimate interest of the Club to process personal data for the purpose of Centre business and activities. We feel that this is the most appropriate lawful basis as we use personal data in ways that a member would reasonably expect and that has a minimal privacy impact.

Membership data sent by the Club to the Secretary is for the use of the Secretary and, when necessary, other Committee members. It will not be communicated to any other parties without a member’s consent.

Members’ personal data will not be retained any longer than is necessary than for the purpose of administering Centre business.

The law gives individuals the following rights regarding their personal data:

(a)     the right to access

(b)     the right to rectification

(c)     the right to erasure

(d)     the right to restrict processing

(e)     the right to object to processing

(f)      the right to data portability

(g)     the right to complain to a supervisory authority, and

(h)     the right to withdraw consent
