Long Stay Winter Holiday Hosts
The Caravan and Motorhome Club is often looking for enthusiastic volunteer hosts to support our holiday rallies at several Spanish campsites. Running from December to April, these rallies vary in length and rely on hosts to foster a supportive and friendly community.
Depending on the size and duration of the holiday rally there will be either one host couple or multiple hosts on each campsite. Hosts arrive on the campsite a few days before the holiday rally start date to check that everything is as expected and will be there on the last day to pack up.
Many members volunteer to lead specific activities and the Hosts manage the weekly schedule to ensure a good variety of daytime and evening events. Typical group activities include quiz nights, arts and crafts, boules tournaments, meals and organised cycling or walking excursions.
This is an unpaid volunteer role but the Club contributes to the cost of travel to and from the campsite and the cost of the pitch for the duration of the holiday.
Ideally hosts will have experience of touring Europe in their caravans or motorhomes and of attending holiday rallies in either the UK or Europe.
