There's nothing better than escaping the cold and wet British winters for the sunny skies of Spain. Whether it's your first winter trip in the 'van or you're an experienced winter sun seeker, many members enjoy the company of others on a hosted winter sun holiday.

With a great value nightly rate, which gets lower the longer you stay, you can pitch up for between 2 and 14 weeks.

Knowledgeable volunteer Club hosts will welcome everyone on site and make sure you know about all the activities and social events taking place each week - you're free to join in as much or as little as you wish. Bear in mind these activities are very popular so check availability with your host. Some activities may depend on members volunteering to help. Having the hosts and lots of other members on site is very reassuring to solo members or those new to winter touring, plus ensures a great social life. We encourage members to share their skills and hobbies with the group and liaise with hosts to help run activities to make it a richer experience for everyone.

Examples of activities on offer include:

  • Walking and cycling trips
  • BBQ's
  • Quiz nights
  • Group meals
  • Boules
  • Minigolf

There may also be an activity schedule of classes organised by the site which may include yoga, pilates, aquagyms or Spanish lessons. Activities may vary per site and are subject to availability and some have extra charges payable locally.

Whilst pets are welcome on our hosted holidays they are not allowed on the indoor activities on the campsite or any coach excursions. Also, pets are not allowed on public transport throughout Spain, (except assistance dogs).

Remember to check your passport validity and the new post-Brexit rule that British passport holders can travel visa free to Europe for only 90 days within a 180 day period, visit our useful information page for further tips and advice for travelling in Europe.

Our Long Stay Winter Sun campsites for 2026-2027

Our Alannia Costa Blanca and Alannia Els Prats hosted holidays will run from 11 December 2026 to 21 March 2027. Our Taiga Puerto Santa Maria hosted holiday will start a little later and run from 17 January to 4 April 2027 so that members can enjoy the Easter festivities in the local area, and our new addition for this year is the Taiga Almeria Playa Winter Holiday from 10 January to 21 March 2027. Members can choose to spend time at one site or take a leisurely tour of all. Our Benidorm hosted holiday is currently subject to campsite management changes so cannot be confirmed at present.

NEW - Taiga Almeria Playa Winter Holiday (Club ref: E68W)

Duration: From 10/01/27 to 21/03/27 - 11 weeks

A newly renovated, modern campsite which is open all year and located just outside of the village of Palomares, where there are a variety of amenities. With its great location, only 2 minutes walk from Playa de Quitar Pellejos, and the Andalusian sunshine all year round with warm winter months, it's the ideal destination for relaxing stays.

  • Facilities: Include excellent good size, mainly sunny pitches. The site is very well looked after and offers an attractive restaurant, bar and terrace.
  • Excursions and things to do: Explore the magnificent coastline and nearby towns such as Garrucha, Vera and Villaricos, Mojacar historic village, as well as the nearby golf and fitness centre. Make sure to visit the local street markets on weekends. There is also a naturist beach 'El Playazo Vera' located 1.5km from the site.

Taiga Puerto Santa Maria Winter Holiday Spain (E67W)

This campsite is located in Cádiz, Andalusia—one of the birthplaces of Flamenco, known for its rich history, architecture, sandy beaches, and vibrant atmosphere. With plenty of sunshine and an ideal climate, it's perfect for long-stay holidays.
