Thanks to everybody.

Very basic £5 a night no frills site, toilets, showers, washing machine, next to the Avon Valley Centre. Thanks to all the campers that made my stay such an experience, thanks to Liz and Mat, Paul and Linda, Bob from Derby, Darly and his wife, and all the other great people I met. Thanks a million. Let’s hope we meet up again soon somewhere on life’s highway!

OK For The Price

A basic, no frills site. There were tent campers using the site at the time of our visit, it wasn't a problem to us but we did wonder if they were CC members. The waste bins were overflowing and not emptied during our 5 night stay. There are lots of public footpaths crossing the surrounding land with the Avon Valley Trail and Bristol to Bath Railway Path within easy reach.

Low cost convenient for Bath and Bristol.

We found the C L as per guide book. There was a bit of rubbish around blown in from some where, which I cleared. The gate could do with a little attention as it is hard to o push. We were the first to use the site this year. There is main line rail noise but it did not spoil our stay. The park & ride for Bath is 5 Min, Bristol 10 min by car and are good value. The local coop super-store via back lane is within walking distance. For £5.00 per night its good value. The Farmer calls about 8:30 AM and leaves you to it. The ground is very flat but could be tricky in wet weather.
