Sedgefield Certificated Locations

The historic town of Sedgefield in County Durham is a great place to spend some time during a visit to the north-east of England.

Its Church of St Edmund is a grade I-listed building that dates back to the 13th century and well worth a visit, and if you want to sample some local produce try and time your trip to coincide with the farmers' market, which takes place on the second Sunday of each month. It has been running, in various forms, for over 700 years.

Hardwick Park is a perfect spot to while away the hours, thanks to its extensive woodland, lake and plentiful wildlife. It regularly holds activities walks and other events, making it great for a family day out.
