Two night midweek stay

We had a little difficulty finding the place due to a few more signs to help pointing you in the right direction would be helpful, but once there its a lovely site. top of the field is better than the lower side, levelling blocks are req`d on all but one pitch. Once levelled and set up you couldn't wish for a more peaceful place to be. Water, toilet disposal and bins are all easily accessed.

Brilliant CL site

We stayed here for 1 night in May and came back later in the week for second night as is such a lovely peaceful site in great location for walks. Straight from the CL site we went a couple of superb walks and saved on car parking fees to!!!! We were the only visitors the 2 nights we stayed. Great fews , very tranquil location. Water and chemical toilet dump facilities were easy to use. The CL is familiy run and very friendly. Interesting rare breed sheep too! We will definately come back when in the area again.

Lovely Site, Lovely Views, Lovely Owners

We've been visiting here several times a year for the last 8 years and will continue to do so. It's a basic site, hence quite and peaceful. The views are excellent and the owners are helpful and polite. They're happy to leave you to yourselves or to have a good old natter. The site is well placed within the Peak District, allowing easy access to both the natural beauty of the area and popular built up destinations like Buxton, Matlock and Bakewell, as well as numerous village Well Dressings that occur every year throughout the summer months.

Excellent quiet site with a view

Absolutely superb quiet site with basic facilities but views to kill for and some of the best walking in the Peak District. Adjacent footpaths and lanes give access to Monsal Dale, Bakewell, Moneyash and even Buxton (10 miles) for the enthusiastic walkers. Hourly bus service inTaddington village for others! Phone/Data and TV signals fair
