Woolacombe Certificated Locations

The village of Woolacombe in Devon lies in the North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is a hugely popular tourist destination, thanks in part to its beautiful beaches.

They are made up of three miles of golden sands and are regularly rated as among the best in Europe, not just in Britain. Surfing conditions are also excellent and life guards keep watch during the summer, making it the ideal place to enjoy watersports or just a paddle.

Woolacombe has some great pubs, shops and restaurants and there are plenty of family-friendly things to do during your trip too.

Highlights include Morthoe Museum and walks along the Morte Point Trail, Devon cream teas (cream before jam) and, just outside the village, Ilfracombe Aquarium.

This is truly a fantastic place to spend a British break, no matter what the season.
