Yelverton is a village situated in the English county of Devon, right on the edge of Dartmoor. It's an ideal holiday destination if you want to get away from it all and really explore this rugged part of the country.
The main attractions in and around the village are St Paul's Church, Buckland Abbey, Roborough Rock and Yelverton Paperweight Centre, the latter of which has both paperweights and paintings by local artists for perusal.
Yelverton is excellent for walkers, as there are routes around Burrator Reservoir and Sheepstor Moor that offer outstanding views. You can also check out many standing stones, burial chambers and stone circles that are sure to appeal to history buffs.
The village also has a number of eateries and a shop to cater for visitors who want to eat out or prepare their own meals.
