Why stay here ...

Our site is situated off a quiet lane on the edge of Shapwick with far reaching views. We are a busy family farm on the National Trust's Kingston Lacy Estate halfway between Blandford Forum and Wimborne Minster on the edge of Cranborne Chase AONB.

We are surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and cycle routes with Badbury Rings to the north and the Stour Valley Way running through the farm to the south.

The beautiful Norman church of St Bartholomew sits beside the river and the village boasts an award winning pub and a game butchers shop. We are within easy drives of the Purbecks, The New Forest, Bournemouth, Poole and Dorchester.

Lovely peaceful site

Priory Farm Camp Site
Great little site, so peaceful (best sleep I've had in ages!) lovely views across the countryside. Easy to book and lovely welcome from Jan. Good location for us as close to where we needed to be. Good access into the site, fairly flat, well kept and spacious grass pitches, waste facilities and water available. Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

Countryside tranquility

Priory Farm Camp Site
Just spent 4 days here and it was beautifully tranquil, great views across farm fields, good food at The Anchor in Shapwick less than 10 minutes walk away. Large pitches with EHU with water and waste very close by. Easy to access (I have a twin axle). A very relaxing stay at a great CL. Thank you Jan.

Peaceful and tranquil stay

Priory Farm Camp Site
We’ve visited sites that are rated for tranquility, but this beats all of them by a long shot! While a little bit more than we usually pay for a no facilities site, this was lovely and a very warm welcome shortly after we arrived. The water pressure is a little low, meaning the water barrel takes a little longer to fill up, but it gave enough time to empty the grey water every time without spilling over we found! A lovely site with easy access to the surrounding area. Easy to locate, even if not visible current from google street view. Will be adding this to our list of sites to return to in the future.
