Great site
Southfield House
What a lovely welcome on arrival. Sadly the field was very boggy which did cause us a small problem . Able to use motor mover but would have had problems if this was not an option.The owner was very worried that we’d get stuck , allowed us to park car on hard standing drive rather than field We did have a few problems with wet soft ground on leaving. The site was lovely and peaceful and very well maintained.

Southfield House
We love visiting this site. It really is home from home. Wendy and Mel are very welcoming and helpful.
The toilet and shower block is great just what you need while staying in a caravan. We also use the storage facility. Very secure with CCTV and locked gates after hours. We trust our caravan is safe when we leave. Children and dogs are welcomed with open arms. Just enough plots spaced out well to give everyone their own space.
In the perfect spot to visit nearby attractions and places. Fraisethorpe beach is close by as well as Bridlington.
There is a village shop just up the road and local pubs and restaurants/ takeaways.

Southfield House
We visit this CL probably 3 or 4 times a year. It is ideally situated to visit seaside resorts such as Hornsea and Bridlington, but also not far from Driffield.
Mel and Wendy will always make you welcome, and always have time for a chat - they are extremely welcoming, and we always look forward to seeing them both!
The CL itself is a large field and Mel takes great care keeping the grass cut tidily, the field itself is fairly level, but carefully placed pavers make sure you are levelled perfectly each time you pitch up.
There is one concrete hardstanding pitch, the others are all grass.
Electricity is metered - a great bonus, you only pay for what you use, Mel is happy for Grey waste to be emptied along the trees and shrubs at the back of the pitches.
There is a mens / ladies toilet, and a Unisex shower.
Just up the road in Beeford there is a decent chippy, a chinese restaurant, and a pub
The CL is also dog friendly
Many regulars return to this CL, so it is obviously doing something right - you are guaranteed a relaxing stay and a great welcome

this site is fabulous welcoming people great facilities so peaceful within reach of nearby attractions.amazing to be able to sit in your caravan and watch deer hares and loads of other wild life happily sharing the site with you.what a wonderful stay we had there can,t wait to return there
Great CL in good location
Southfield House
This CL is perfectly situated for a visit to East Yorkshire, it is within easy reach of Bridlington, Hornsea, and Driffield. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and do their utmost to make your stay a relaxing experience.
The CL field is large, level and well drained with the pitches and hook ups all positioned along the boundary. The grass is kept immaculate, and all clippings are collected. Electricity is metered, so you only pay for what you use, there is a 50p charge for the use of the shower which is not on a timer so good value - toilets and shower are kept clean. Site is quiet and peaceful with a small amount of road noise during the day but very quiet at night. We are going back for a longer stay in a few weeks with our grandson in tow, and look forward to being regular visitors in the future. This is a great base if you are planning to visit the East Yorkshire coast
