Canterbury Certificated Locations

Located on the banks of the River Stour, Canterbury is an historic city and UNESCO World Heritage Site that's consistently one of England's most popular tourist destinations.

Thanks to its standing as a centre for education, it has a cosmopolitan feel and is also a cultural hub, with attractions such as Canterbury Cathedral, St Augustine's Abbey and a Norman castle.

Visitors can catch a play at the Marlowe Theatre, relax on a rowing boat along the river while watching birds or explore Herne Bay and the surrounding countryside. Refreshments can be had at numerous cosy pubs, trendy wine bars or quaint tea shops.

For families, there is the Canterbury Tales attraction and Howletts Wild Animal Park, featuring animals like gorillas, elephants and lions.
