Deal Castle is a unique fortification. With six semi-circular bastions surrounding an inner keep, it looks like a Tudor Rose from above and is and a great place for history lovers to explore. Built on the orders of King Henry VIII, it's one of England's finest Tudor artillery castles, and there's a permanent exhibition that teaches visitors about life in the 16th century.
Other highlights include the public pier, the Deal Maritime and Local History Museum, Walmer Castle and Timeball Tower.
