Staplehurst Certificated Locations

Staplehurst is a large village in Kent that has resisted the urge to become a town and therefore retains its wonderful community feel.

It has everything a visitor could need, including a pub, selection of local shops and even a pink sparkling wine producer.

In the 19th century, it was famed for the purity of its air and welcomed many people needing to convalesce.

A number of churches can be found in Staplehurst, including All Saints’, which dates back to the 12th century, and occupies the highest spot in the village.

Staplehurst’s most famous son is the comedian Harry Hill, who grew up in the village and completed his education at local schools.
