Why stay here ...

Little Meadow CL is a quiet site located on a working farm on the A5269 4.5 miles from the motorway. On site we have 5 full serviced pitches including electric hook ups, drinking water and grey water drains at every unit.

We are situated 1.5 miles from the small town of Longridge where you will find a host of interesting gift, antique and dress shops and inviting tea rooms and restaurants.

There is fishing close by and golf  courses in the area and 5 minutes away you are in the beautiful Forrest of Bowland where the scenery is second to none.

Also in the area is the Wild Boar Park which is a fun day out for the family and the picturesque village of Chipping and the Chipping Steam Fair is held on the late Spring Bank Holida and is a great weekend for all ages. A short drive is the roman fort ruins at Ribchester where there is a museum (check opening times) and slightly further away is the towering Castle of Clitheroe with its beautiful river side walks.

There are some magnificent views in the area and from the site you can see the country park of Beacon Fell so called for the beacons which were lit for special occasions. There are plenty of  footpaths on the fell and a café near the car park. To the west and approimately 25 minutes by car we have Blackpool with its miles of sandy beaches and in autumn the famous illuminations. A little down the coast is the Royal Lytham and Saint Annes Golf club.

A warm welcome awaits you at this peaceful secluded site.

Fantastic

Little Meadow Caravan Site
I’ve not been to little meadows for a few months now. I arrived on site and set up. I was on my own as my partner was away so it was just the dog and myself. I forgot how relaxing this site is. Nice to see hares, squirrels and to hear the owls at night. I love this little site and being close to home is even better. The owners are so nice and helpful. Can’t wait to go again! Thanks for a lovely relaxing stay 😊

Peaceful and well equipped site

Little Meadow Caravan Site
Peaceful secluded site set well back from main road so very little traffic noise. Fully serviced grass pitches, fairly level with plenty of space. Very friendly and welcoming owners and easy access to M6, M55, Ribble Valley, Trough of Bowland etc. Definitely somewhere we intend visiting regularly. Do not approach using Brabiner Lane as this is not suitable for caravans/large vehicles, access from M55 at Broughton through Whittingham is quick and straightforward.

Fabulous site

Little Meadow Caravan Site
I stayed at Little Meadow on a Saturday without my partner. As a woman on her own I found it to feel really safe and very quiet. The pitches were fairly flat so I only had to go up my ramps on the lowest level. Each pitch has a tap, electric and grey waste disposal. The chemical toilet emptying point is at the bottom of the site through the hedge. We had heavy rain the night before but this didn’t spoil my stay, my van drove straight on and I got parked up very easy. The owner was so lovely too. I had the best sleep I’ve had for a very long time. I can’t wait to go again and take my partner so he can see what a fabulous little site this is. Thank you for brilliant stay Jackie

Good site good served pitch but very boggy

Little Meadow Caravan Site
Very peaceful, pitches are fully serviced, very very boggy, all pitches are grass, no hard standing as on info 3 nch of standing water around most of the site. very difficult to position caravan due to boggyness, got car stuck. Should of pulled straight off and found a site that was accessible. Owners are very nice and welcoming and the weather is not their fault however pitches should have been checked and we should have been contacted before setting off. A dissapiinting muddy stay but is prob fantastic during longer dryer spells or with a little gravel down could be a real gem.

Spot on

Little Meadow Caravan Site
This CL was spot on for us as it's halfway to Scotland with easy access from M6 (new road layout my satnav was not uptodate). A warm welcome with fresh cut grass on level pitch with water on tap and grey waste water at each point. Good value for money. A little bit of noise with it being a working farm but was not distracting. Possible to use in winter if willing to be flexible on pitching position. The owners have added thoughtful extras to make the stay more enjoyable. Will use again and hopefully stay longer.
