Enjoyable Stay

Holmes Villa
Stayed here 10 nights in August , nice little site (choice of 2 fields ) would have preferred outer field with better view but couldn't get electric out there - all posts within reach taken . Ground was little soft after recent rain but not problem . Lovely couple greeted us , very friendly and nothing was too much trouble . Toilet nice and clean with hot water over (one of those little boiler things) and in next room was washing m/c (small charge) and ironing board . Only downside , and this is nitpicking , toilet and washer room was a little cobwebby , but all-in-all a lovely little site would definitely recommend .

Absolutely beautiful!

Holmes Villa
Returned from this site yesterday after a last minute weekend away and what an excellent choice we made! The whole site is outstanding in every way, the gardens are beautiful, the grass is excellent, owners friendly, welcoming and can't do enough for you, lovely walks straight from site, peaceful and tranquil, definitely a site to visit if you're a gardener, have to say that no groundsheets allowed rule is totally worth it and very understandable with amount of work the owners put it, absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!

wonderful quirky site

Holmes Villa
We were greeted and made to feel very welcome on our arrival. Beautiful pitch on a peaceful holding. The chickens are free to roam and are an absolute delight. Eggs are available for purchase depending on what they are laying. The gardens are very special, hidden gems, lots to see and beautiful ponds. There is a toilet for use but we used our own. Very peaceful and some good places to eat in the local villages. Extremely welcoming and friendly quiet site. Im sure we will be back.

Simply Splendid

Holmes Villa
Super site with excellent facilities. Owners Peter and Shiela could not be more helpful both for on site and off site queries. A beautiful secret garden surrounds most of the pitches, and the owners are quite happy for you to explore. Super Pub in next village with own micro brewery and splendid food. Not to be missed! As with other reviewers, we will be back.
