Why stay here ...

We are an adult site only, located on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty, close to great routes and trails for walking, cycling birdwatching and dog walking. The historic market town of Market Rasen, good for a variety of shops, is 2 miles away from us, with a variety of shops and local produce, and has several nice pubs and places to eat out. Market Rasen is on the National Cycle Route with a new leisure centre opening soon.

Just outside Market Rasen is Willingham Woods a favourite for dog walkers and has lovely picnicking facilities and snack bar. Market Rasen Racecourse, the only one in Lincolnshire, is just on the edge of the town and hosts regular events other than racing through the year.

We are conveniently located to access neighbouring places of interest such as the Georgian market town of Caistor (8 miles) with the Caistor Lakes fishing lakes and excellent restaurant, Louth with excellent shopping and pubs and restaurants (18 miles), Grimsby, home of the national Fishing Heritage Museum and shopping (20miles) and the ancient cathedral city of Lincoln itself (14 miles), famous for it's Christmas Market and the Lincolnshire Showground, where regular events are hosted along with the annual Lincolnshire Show which is a must if visiting in June.

Seaside resorts are easily accessible from our site, with Cleethorpes beach and shops just past Grimsby, with Papa's fish & chip shop on the pier – probably the largest chippie in the world!

For those with an interest in antiques and collectables, we are 20 minutes' drive away from Hemswell Antiques Centre, the largest permanent antiques complex in Europe, with over 300 dealers on site and regular Sunday car boot sales. Louth also has a permanent antique centre and several smaller antique shops in the town.
Our wartime heritage is close by for those interested in Lincolnshire's Bomber County history, with many ex- WW2 airfields in the surrounding area – Hemswell Antiques Centre itself is located on the site of the former RAF Hemswell air base with many of the original buildings and hangers still in use.

At Field Farm we have horses on site in paddocks adjacent to the caravan site, and free-range hens and ducks, who may wander into the site periodically – if you find any eggs feel free to keep them! We do offer eggs for sale.

Equestrian facilities are nearby at Hill House, Willow Banks and Caistor Equestrian Centres for those interested in horses. If you are looking to attend an equestrian event, we can provide overnight stabling facilities or grazing on-site to accommodate this.

Overnight stay en route, but may well return for longer stay

Field Farm
Just stayed overnight while we visited friends nearby. A lovely find. A friendly welcome and a good chat! Will use for future visits to our friends and May well treat ourselves to a longer stay and explore the Wolds and coast. Easy to find and access. Lovely views over paddocks. Yes, I think we will be back. Well done.

Great weekend

Field Farm
Many thanks to Mark and Sue for a great weekend. Mark met us at the gate on arrival with a welcome pack and leaflets to walks ect. The site was very well kept and all facilities spotlessly clean. Sue also came and welcomed us later on. This is a site we will visit on a regular basis . Paul & Elaine Barker

Peaceful and relaxing site close to a variety of activities

Field Farm
We have just returned from a 3-night stay at Field Farm and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay! The site itself has everything you need, in terms of facilities there is hook up and utilities for fresh water and waste disposal. All very clean and well attended to. Our hosts, Mark & Sue, were particularly welcoming, were genuine in their offer to accomodate any queries and had very good knowledge of the area. The spacious pitches are short mown grass and whilst the site is private, with hedging against the very quiet road, the outlook is open with lovely views of the horses grazing in paddocks of several acres. We had a busy weekend already planned, attending Market Rasen races on the Friday, just a few miles away with the town itself having a variety of shopping choices. On Saturday we took a drive to Mabelthorpe and cycled the coastal route to Chapel St Leonards. The surrounding area looks to have plenty of other cycling and walking options so this cl is going on our list of places to return to, as it suits all our requirements. I would highly recommend this site to others and encourage you to visit. Sue and Mark have put so much effort into getting the cl up and running and then covid hit, halting them in their tracks through the lockdown. Its good they are finally up and running and I wish them well with their new business

A lovely new site with welcoming hosts

Field Farm
A lovely stay on a new site. Owners Mark and Sue keen to please and nice views over fields with horses. Service facilities brand new and looked good, we didn't use them, but we'll thought out with general and recycling bins provided. Local to Wolds Top, Lincolnshire's highest point (168m) and other places of interest. Quiet country lanes and quiet at night. Easy to get around on bikes. Gravel driveway to grass pitches. WiFi was available from owners house but a bit on the edge and slow. Enjoyed our stay here, we wish them well and hope to be back

Perfect wolds retreat at Field Farm

Field Farm
We have stayed here on 2 occasions with our dogs. It is simply beautiful. The owners Mark and Sue are incredibly welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They are very knowledgeable about activities in the local area and further afield in Lincolnshire. The site is well run and immaculate. The fact this is adult only makes it even more appealing, it gives my husband and I chance to recharge our batteries, child free. It really is an ideal site. We are just about to book our next stay.
