Noisy in the evening

Nice site although very small, it’s an adult only site but the rented cottage they have allows families that are allowed to let their children play in the pasture on site which happened whilst we where there so in the evening there was lots of children shouting going on, also lots of people on site had visitors and were very load in the evenings, overall nice site, owner very friendly and attentive but needs to sort out the family’s staying in the rented cottage to allow everyone to enjoy peace and quiet, if it wasn’t an adult only site you would expect the noise but it spoilt our stay and we came home early.

Visit this site

Stayed for 2 weeks, owners friendly and not intrusive.Daniel paid us a visit once but was available if required. The site was very tidy. The barn contained local information, with a pool table and dart board, toilet and shower were kept clean and tidy it was a quiet and easy going site, well situated for visiting the broads and local area attractions Woodfords a local brewery and pub was good. We shall certainly be visiting this site again when in the area and would recommend it to others.

Nice site

Nice quiet site. Owners pleasant and helpful. I suggested cutting down some high weeds so the view was improved and this was done the same day. Great flat field with EHU points, fresh water and toilet waste emptying. Facilities are very basic. Nowhere to put dry clothes in the shower, cold concrete floor to step onto. No hot water tap or towel in the toilet. Pool table with no cue tips and offensive drawings apparently done by kids (adults only site?) Another field behind the CL for 'friends and family' with kids on it. The site could be so much better with updated facilities and a little put into a new pool table and more than 1 dart on the dart board!

New owners

Really happy to to see this CL back in the camc, we have just been for a visit to this vastly improved adult only cl, was greeted warmly by Daniel and his lovely wife who are trying to build up this cl to what it was many year ago, and to blank out all the negative bad reviews of recent before it closed. although work in progress, and hopefully a couple or so hard standing in the future , the work done so far ( clean useable toilet/shower) and all rubbish removed from barn ,insulated roof and old barn removed and ground made good, the hire cottage also has been renovated as has the private house, we sincerely wish them good luck and we looking forward to many visits.

Peace & tranquility in Norfolk

Be aware the information in the club book is currently out of date. There is a new owner with a new telephone number shown at the top of this page. We had originally booked 5 nights and ended up staying for 9 nights. The site is secluded and situated on the edge of a very large field providing a very peaceful view. The loo & shower are both well maintained. Dart board & pool table are also available. The owner was extremely helpful when we had a problem with the caravan in providing us with contact numbers for businesses in the area to contact. Hasten to add this was not the reason for us staying those extra nights mentioned earlier in this review! The site is well placed for visits. From here we did the coast from Sheringham down to Great Yarmouth over a few days. We did Norwich (P&R at Sprowston £5). 2 National Trust properties. And of course the Broads themselves at nearby Ranworth Broad. Wroxham is close by for shopping. Didn't try the pub as we were happy cooking & eating on the site. This is a lovely site and we wish the new owner all the best for the future.
