Great site

How La Hay Farm
Thoroughly enjoyed a week at Howla Hay Farm. Spacious but slightly sloping pitches need leveling blocks, When we stayed in February the water supplies to the pitches were (understandably) switched off due to frosts, but were conveniently located. The alternative water supply and CDP were convenient. Well kept site in a great location for coast or hill walking. Close to the road which is audible during the day, but quite at night so not a problem. Entrance is on a corner on the road so could be difficult if you're going fast! A look at Streetview prior to arriving certainly helped. All in all a great site that we will return to.

Great CL

How La Hay Farm
Excellent CL well placed for surrounding beaches which were good especially for dogs although some of them have restrictions on from May 1st. Stopped for 7 nights at Easter Large field with big pitches that are fully serviced. No trouble finding entrance on arrival just dont go too fast. Slight road noise but not intrusive. Will definitely return when in area. At £17.50 all inclusive a good price not like some other CLs which are a joke

First Time - We will be back

How La Hay Farm
Fantastic location situated 3 miles from the Beach at Saltburn or Marske. Arrival: We took heed of the reviews and ensured we tagged the entrance on our SATNAV, can see how some people may have missed the turn. Access is up a slight hill to a electric gate (Push button open). Signs direct you to the campsite that isn't visible until you are on top of it. Head for stables, turn left then left again. Site is very big. There is a toilet (In stable block), recycling facility, Huge dog walk. Each pitch is 16 Amp with Fully service water and grey waste. Elsan point is just across the grass area. The slope was an issue for our E&P Levelling system, but some blocks got it sorted. We couldn't get a TV signal but we had Sky Q so just put the satellite dish up. Mobile Phone Signal was very good (4g O2). Owner was super helpful and is always around if you need to ask anything. Payment was made via card machine. We will definitely be back.

Peaceful and welcoming

How La Hay Farm
Just spent 4 nights at this lovely site, it has everything we needed. Michael knowledgeable and friendly making us feel extremely welcome. It is a working farm and livery but we were encouraged to explore the farmland surrounding the farm and we could walk through the farm yard to get to Great dog walks across the farm.there was access to some lovely beaches only 15 minutes drive. Trocketts mill is just a mile a way and great for a drink or food but you need to book for food. Only downside is the walk to the pub is on a road without a footpath so not ideal but we were offered a lift there if needed and a taxi back is £4. Each pitch has its own water point and there was no problem with filling aquaroll. Grass and pitches were well maintained. Site had a welcoming and relaxed vibe 😃
