Very pleasant CL & good welcome
Green Acres
This is a quiet and pleasant site. We stayed two nights whilst visiting Ripon Cathedral and Fountains Abbey & Studley Water Gardens both of which are well worth visiting. Mrs Stockil was very welcoming and even called to say goodbye and wish us a safe journey on the morning we were leaving. Has all necessary facilities. The owners home and garden were immaculate. Easy to find but do follow the directions given by the owner. Next to a fairly quiet B road.
A Beautiful C.L. in a Lovely Location.
Green Acres
We stayed here for just 2 nights on our return home from Scotland and received a warm and friendly welcome from Mr and Mrs Stockil. The location and surrounding views are beautiful and the site itself immaculate. With good walks on well marked footpaths nearby it suited us and our Border Collie 'Rosie' particularly well. Our thanks to the owners again for their hospitality.

A Little Gem!
Green Acres
We have used many CL’s over the years and don’t normally bother to leave reviews. This site, however, is one of the best we have used. It is easy to find, with good access. The owners are very welcoming and friendly, the site is well maintained and obviously cared for and it is set in a beautiful area with magnificent views. We stayed for seven nights and there was loads to do in the area. We wish we could have stayed longer! This site is definitely on our ‘we must come back here’ list and we look forward to returning. It is everything we look for in a CL.

What a fantastic CL!
Green Acres
What a fantastic CL! It has easy access and the owners are welcoming and friendly.
The pitches are sheltered from behind by hedges and have an outstanding view to the front over the vale to the Hambleton hills. The site is a finely mown lawn surrounded on three sides by flowers. A real bonus is the spotlessly clean toilet.
It is ideally situated for Brimham Rocks and the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey/Studley Royal Water Garden.
Nearby is the ancient city of Ripon, with historic cathedral, riverside and canalside walks, racecourse and traditional weekly market. The city is one of the smallest in England, with ample low-cost parking near the cathedral for cars and campervans.
We have been using CL's for over 20 years and this has to be one of the best we have stayed on.
