Well located between Ripon and Pateley Bridge, friendly welcome

Green Acres
We received a friendly welcome and learnt that the owners had the site for over 40 years, yet still appeared very well cared for. The views from the site were great, and being located between Ripon and Pateley Bridge, it is convenient for both Studley Royal/ Fountains Abbey and Brimham Rocks. We appreciated the provision of a well maintained toilet. The site is on the B road, so a little traffic sound, but this made it very easy to travel.

Lovely Hosts

Green Acres
Our first visit but it won't be our last. We received a wonderful welcome from Keith who showed us round the sight and put us straight when we had a hick up with our electrics. Wendy was out but made sure she met with us the next day.It is obvious that the site is well cared for with beautiful borders of flowers and well mowed grass pitches. Pitch sizes more then adequate with all amenities easily accessible. The views of the surrounding areas well made up for a busy road at times, but to be honest we where out enjoying the beautiful countryside to care. Plenty of walks near by and local pubs with Ripon and Pateley Bridge on the door step. Not impressed with the chippy at Pateley Bridge though. Hope to be back before the end of our season.

Wonderful week a this CL

Green Acres
We had never stayed at this CL before. The owners Keith and Wendy made us feel very welcome and we quickly settled into its beautiful surroundings. We were surprised that during our week here there was no-one else on this site ass it is one of the best CL's we have stayed on. Each site has electrical hookup (16 amps) and the water point and chemical closet emptying point is easily accessible. The added bonus was having a toilet for exclusive site use which was clean, having a huge map on the wall of the local area and a rack with information of places to visit. This is a great site to explore North Yorkshire situated almost eqidistant from Ripon and Pateley Bridge and located near to fountains abbey and the fabulous Brimstone rocks. This is a great CL that we would highly recommend. Do give it a visit if coming to this area.

Lovely CL with amazing views

Green Acres
This was our very first stay with our new motorhome so we have nothing to compare it against, but that said, our host and family were warm and welcoming. The views are far reaching and stunning. As others have mentioned, the site is close to Ripon, Fountains Abbey and Pateley Bridge, and there is a pub serving meals less than a mile away. Across the road from the site there are footpaths which lead to a lovely lake (Eavestone Lake). The site has waste bins, drinking water, a toilet, chemical toilet waste facility and electric hook-up. Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us on this occasion so we will return so we can see the views at their very best.

Beautiful Stay

Green Acres
Amazing stay Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting Grantley Hall. Owners Wendy and Keith are amazing hosts and their daughter Amanda, couldnt do enough for us. Lovely location, pub about a mile walk, Studley Hall National Trust site about 2.5 miles away, worth a visit. Eggs available to buy from their flock of chickens. Sheep grazing in the next field. Peaceful nights sleep. We feel like weve made friends and will definitely be back, these hosts have been welcoming guests for 46 years which is quite incredible. Toilet, bins, electric and water available A must stay if in the area. The best club site we’ve stayed at and so welcoming they made our anniversary weekend extra special.
