Happy Easter Holiday

Seat House
After an easy 5 hour drive up from Southampton the beautiful tranquility of this site washed away the aches from driving and graced us with stunning views, piece and quiet, and a wonderful site. Brian gave us a very warm welcome and happily answered our sons questions on the newly born sheep. Easy access to everything you could ever need. Water, electric and TV antennas on each pitch so bring your mains kit for the aqua roll.. 10 out of 10

A favourite place

Just home after 4 nights at this little gem of a site. Perfect area, beautiful at this time of year with all the autumn colour. Plenty of walks in the area, close to the canal, Skipton, gargrave, malham. Chilled & relaxed stay with good clean facilities. Thank you for having us and we will return next season

Beautiful peaceful site. Arrived at lambing time and we're lucky to see some births in the opposite field. Great quiet roads to walk along. Public footpath to local village with a variety of shops and most importantly a Fish and Chip shop! Beautiful canal walks in both directions; close to the Pennine Way. Visited Skipton and was able to park in the castle car park even though the town was busy. Lovely woodland walk around the castle. Loads of different shops, something for everyone. Definitely will return.

Lovely site, with fields and views everywhere. A good place to access the area, with Malham in particular not being far away. Stayed on the upper 5 pitch site and nice to have water on "tap". Everyone very friendly and also convenient for Settle and the rail trip to Carlisle.

Fully serviced pitches and stunning location

Seat House
Lovely site surrounded by fields and animals but easy access to places of interest and some lovely walks too. Pitches are very spacious and even have a wooden table and bench on each one, which we thought was a nice touch. The TV aerial on our pitch didn't work but wasn't a problem as we only use our TV for DVD's usually. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Shower and toilet block was clean and useful to have. Only thing that caused us some difficulty is that there is barely any phone or internet signal. Whilst it's lovely to be away from social media etc we did realise how much we use it for planning where we're going each day and looking up entry times and prices for things. It wouldn't stop us staying again as everything else about the site was lovely but worth knowing in advance if you rely on being contactable while you're away. We just made sure when we were off-site we did all our searching before we lost signal! Skipton itself is a pretty town with lots of independent shops and a good market. The castle is beautiful and the woodland walk which you can do from the castle is worth it too. So many places to visit from this site we just wished we'd had longer.
