Amble Certificated Locations

Amble is a small harbor town in Northumberland on the River Coquet. It remains a working fishing centre and boats can often be seen heading out to sea and returning to shore.

One of the major draws for visitors to Amble is the development of its outstanding restaurant scene. In recent years, a number of new establishments have opened offering amazing local produce. There is also an award-winning ice cream parlour that is a must for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Amble is also home to a unique colony of puffins. It is estimated around 36,000 birds live on the nearby Coquet Island and there are regular boat services available from Amble to see them in their natural habit.
