Not as expected

Innage Farm
We intended too stay 3 weeks but had asked for hardstanding pitch and we’re not told there was none available so we only stayed for 1 week. There are 2 hardstanding pitches but they seem too be permanently occupied.I don’t think this is an all year site’ admittedly it as been very wet this year. One caravan which looks too be there all year round had a notice in window saying don’t block the view, If they want the best hardstanding pitch then tough. We could only park on the edge of the grass as the rest of the field was too wet.putting all that aside it was a pleasant site, no problems with noise from trains etc or road noise. No sign of Owners although some one put a notice saying price was now £12 we only left £10 as what the price was when we booked a couple of weeks before. Very disappointed and won’t be back. Over priced for a non electric cl.

LOvely little site with sensible prices.

Innage Farm
Arrived with no one at home, but pitched up no problem. There is an honesty box on the side of the central small stone outbuilding (take an envelope with you for cash!) . We did not see the owner whilst there overnight. Clean well kept site. There are as you enter the field on the left some long term caravans (2) but not a problem. Access to water etc easy. One consideration to be had is that the M48 bridge closes in high winds or high sided vehicles are not allowed (fine camera in operation) So you could get stuck on the wrong side of the Severn and have to go a long way around - the M4 bridge has wind protection and rarely closed. Price excellent as we would expect for a non electric site although some sites will be pricing themselves out of the market elsewhere if we all avoid them and stick to the sensibly priced CL's. We will return for longer stays have relatives in Bristol w3hich is within easy reach.

Have used this CL twice now. 1st time just a one night stopover on our way to Wales. 2nd time again we were on our way to Wales but we stayed an extra night so as to be able to have a look round the area instead of just driving through it. Chepstow is right on your doorstep and just a short drive to Forest of Dean, Tintern Abbey, Monmouth. Pleasant level lawned site in small orchard behind farm house. On neither occasion have we actually seen the owners - it has always just been a case of turn up, pitch up and hope you are parking in the right place. You leave the cash in an honesty box. Very peaceful location despite being right on top of the Severn Bridge. You can hear a distant hum of traffic but it is not obtrusive. Very good value at just £10 a night. PS hopefully you won't need to know this but the vets by the roundabout were very helpful and slotted us in for an emergency appointment for our dog when he injured his tail during our stay.

Very Pleasant and convenient

Innage Farm
Well manicured grass pitches next to a field with a few sheep. Close by some interesting walks and walking distance to Chepstow. The Severn is within view Working farm , yet probably the quietest farm animals we every came across. All in all lovely and conveniently located for a quick getaway or short stay.

Lovely little gem.

Innage Farm
We have now stayed here three times as it is close to our daughter and her family. The site is a simple site but in a lovely setting. On our first two visits it was grass only but now there is hardstanding available but best to request this when booking. On our last visit we were also offered why but this is limited. We have always received a very warm welcome. The village is very pretty and the pub is within walking distance. You can access the coastal path from the site and the walk along The Severn is lovely. Thoroughly recommend.
