Wonderful view

Argoed Farm CL
Well maintained, peaceful site with wonderful view across the Severn Valley to England. Very helpful owner. Narrow approach and entrance needs care.

Great Little site

Argoed Farm CL
Stayed here for 3 nights in early July 2024 to attend some concerts at Chepstow Racecourse, very convenient. The site is approached by a narrow lane, which can get overgrown, but the owner Phil tries to keep on top of the hedge trimming. The site is sloping but the owner has provided lots of levelling blocks for use. Pitching is flexible and you can pitch anywhere if your lead is long enough. There is ehu and water on site and grey waste goes to the hedge. There is an Elsan point next to the house. The site has beautiful views of the Severn Estuary, is quiet and very dark at night, just fab. So peaceful. Close to local amenities and Phil the owner is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to the local area and places to eat and drink. Loads to do in the area. We were unable to explore on this occassion but will definitely return as the site is great. If you want a competitevly priced quiet site with friendly owners give this a try , you will not be dissapointed. Look forward to going back

What a beautiful CL

Argoed Farm CL
A beautiful field with amazing views over the River Severn and the bridges. Everything a CL should be, plenty of walks straight from the site and absolutely loads to do and see in the area. We found a Roman town at Caerwent by accident which was very interesting walking round one evening. We walked from Chepstow to Tintern along the Wye Valley Way, 6 miles, a lovely lunch and then back on the bus. Phil, the owner was very helpful and fascinating to talk to. I can't praise this site highly enough.

Stunning views on arrival

Argoed Farm CL
We only stopped one night on a return home to break the journey. A narrow lane approach, but a spacious field, we had an amazing view over the severn estuary, Phil & sue made us most welcome, the site slopes a bit , but that's fine plenty of levelling blocks available, our dogs loved it , lots of direct walking off site + a it's own dog walk ..Phil has carried out some beautiful work to his barn conversions , see you again soon Derek, marie & dogs

Argoed Farm CL
A well kept, peaceful site with great views. Good electricity, powerful water & very well maintained recycling area. Plenty of space & a small dog walk with poo bin. Friendly owner.
