Putts Corner Club Campsite is well located amidst idyllically quiet and pretty surroundings. In the spring a truly memorable display of bluebells, followed by foxgloves can be seen to add heightened charm to your holiday. As well as the glorious bounty of flowers on display, you will be able to experience a wide variety of bird life and even the occasional deer. There is a choice of scenic walks leading from the site into Gittisham, and from Beer you can take the lovely coastal path to Branscombe. If you would prefer a tranquil riverside walk, then Ottery St Mary is sure to delight.
The town of Sidmouth can be found conveniently close to Putts Corner Club Campsite. A restful resort with a long pebble beach and Donkey Sanctuary, its famous International Folklore Festival in August is not to be missed. The site also puts you within easy reach of Honiton, an attractive Georgian town with many antique and speciality shops selling everything from elegant lace to pottery. For those who enjoy a spot of shopping, the local market is held on Tuesdays and Saturdays and for the thirsty a traditional pub is a mere 180 metres away. In the nearby area, the colourful seaside town of Lyme Regis situated in the heart of the Jurassic Coast, is a renowned centre for fossil hunting. The city of Exeter offers great shopping and dining options, Cathedral gardens, and also the opportunity for lovely walks and bike rides alongside the canal.

Directions
Turn off the A30 Honiton Bypass (dual carriageway) from the east into road signposted Sidmouth A375 then turn Left, from the west signposted Honiton A375 (Turks Head Junction ). At mini roundabout turn Left follow sign for A375 (sp Sidmouth). In 320 metres at next mini roundabout turn right onto the A375 (sp Sidmouth). In about 2.5 miles turn right just before Hare and Hounds Inn into the road signposted Ottery St Mary. In about 0.25 mile turn right into site entrance. Late arrivals are asked to use the late arrivals parking. Please only use these recommended directions for the final approach and not sat nav, due to alternative routes being unsuitable for towing. Please avoid approaching from Ottery St Mary (which has a 1 in 5 gradient uphill) and on the A373 from junction 28 of the M5.

Another fabulous stay
Putts Corner Club Campsite
We tend to stay at the site to relax and decompress lovely and quiet, clean tidy and super sized serviced pitches. Toilet block is immaculate. Pleasant staff who work tirelessly to keep the site presentable and ensure you want for nothing during your stay. Thankyou
Perfect stay yet again
Putts Corner Club Campsite
We returned yet again for another stay - 3 nights with 1 of them free courtesy of CAMC. Had one of our favourite pitches. Warm welcome as usual, to us and Jack our dog by Diane and team.
Site well maintained as it always is and was beautiful - trees looked lovely in autumn colours.
The toilet/ shower block so warm and clean.
We will be back again next year.
Another lovely stay
Putts Corner Club Campsite
This was our fifth visit to Putts Corner. Despite 4 days of almost continual rain we had a lovely stay as usual. The site and its facilities are well maintained. The shower/ toilet blocks are spotless at any time of day/night. The showers are hot and the block warm.
It is a nice walk with the dog up to the nearby pub for a fantastic carvery.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The change in where to dispose of rubbish to one central point is not a problem and a good idea to reduce refuse bag use.
We will definitely return again and hopefully there will be some sunshine.
Poor site unfriendly staff and won’t be coming back
Putts Corner Club Campsite
This is the first time and last time we will visit the site. Staff very unfriendly on arrival and seem like we were to much trouble arriving even thou it was about 2. They seem more interested in doing the upkeep of the site. We had book a pitch without a awning as was there only two night and only two available even thou campsite was only half full and the pitch was tiny. Leason learnt for us going forward always book pitch with awning as same price on website . Small camper van had bigger pitch than us and staff should have really offered us a normal pitch rather than one of there blue pitches. There was only a couple of these blue pitches either we
Hen you went in or came out and should only be used for small camper van or people leaving or arriving late . Was told relatively level pitch and it was most certainly not as had to use lots of blocks on certain legs which wasn’t a problem and also had to use wheel ramp on one side . Have to admit toilet were spotless and plenty of them and looked relatively new . It appears site is on the direct flight path to Exeter airport and was woken up multiple time during the night even around 2 am as the planes went over. This is about the 20 th caravan and Motorhome site we have stopped at and is by far the worse and least friendly and helpful staff. Normally the sites for the caravan and Motorhome are excellent but this one wasn’t Sorry for the moan

Putts Corner Club Campsite
Lovely campsite, immaculate, great facilities and location. However we found one of the lady wardens to be a little obnoxious. First time this has happened to us in all our years of caravanning!
