Why stay here ...

Wharfedale Club site is now open following significant redevelopment. We've carried out many exciting improvements including a complete refurbishment of the toilet and shower facilities, replacement of all service points and repairs to the road. We look forward to welcoming you on site soon.

Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, Wharfedale Club Site is screened from the outside world with stately trees and offers a rich variety of wildlife. Its two fields are divided by dry stone walls, which are very characteristic of this area. Situated in this loveliest of National Parks, the caravan site has excellent facilities, which were redeveloped in 2017. There are numerous walking pathsfrom which you can explore the splendid surrounding countryside, and plenty of dog-friendly walks nearby.

Wharfedale Club Site puts you within easy reach of Grassington, one of the most picturesque villages in the Yorkshire Dales. With its charming cobbled main street, comprehensive Information Centre and a good selection of shops selling local specialities, you will find more than enough for a fun family outing. There are also numerous pubs serving some fine Yorkshire Ales and some delicious home-cooked treats to be had. Prior to Christmas, Grassington holds a series of Dickensian Days on Saturdays throughout December, making this caravan site the perfect destination for a festive holiday break. You can also enjoy a walk into Burnsall village which boasts a beautiful riverside location.

Autumn break.

We followed the instructions to access the site and arrived without a problem. Wardens are very friendly. Facilities have been upgraded and are new, clean and warm. Pitches are gravel and well spaced. Two pubs a short walk. Leisure centre in the adjacent static site can be used, which has a pool, spa and sauna. Local SPAR shop is 10 min walk and has everything including fuel. I rate each site according to my own criteria and this scored 10/10. We couldn’t fault it.

Quiet escape

Great site managed by wardens who love their job and enjoy keeping it in tip top condition. The facilities are spotless as is the rest of the site. You can order a daily newspaper pay an extra 10p for the privilege. The pub is a 15 minute walk and the dog walk is very nice, the only downside is the site is over run with rabbits when it vets dark.

Fabulous site and very well run and friendly wardens. Love The Gamekeeper, and plenty of local walks and beautiful scenery. We shall definitely return. Thank you
