Why stay here ...
COMING SOON: Six grass pitches will be converted to hardstandings this winter and will be ready for when we open again in March 2021 making them usable all year round.
Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, Wharfedale Club Site is screened from the outside world with stately trees and offering a rich variety of wildlife. Its two fields are divided by dry stone walls, which are very characteristic of this area. There are numerous walking paths from which you can explore the splendid surrounding countryside, and plenty of dog-friendly walks nearby. Situated in this loveliest of National Parks, the site has excellent facilities, which were redeveloped in 2017 - where we carried out many exciting improvements including a complete refurbishment of the toilet and shower facilities, replacement of all service points and repairs to the road.
Wharfedale Club Site puts you within easy reach of Grassington, one of the most picturesque villages in the Yorkshire Dales. With its charming cobbled main street, comprehensive Information Centre and a good selection of shops selling local specialities, you will find more than enough for a fun family outing. There are also numerous pubs serving some fine Yorkshire Ales and some delicious home-cooked treats to be had. Prior to Christmas, Grassington holds a series of Dickensian Days on Saturdays throughout December, making this North Yorkshire caravan park the perfect destination for a festive holiday break. You can also enjoy a walk into Burnsall village which boasts a beautiful riverside location.
We look forward to welcoming you on site soon.
Approach only using the B6265 from Skipton. All other routes are unsuitable for caravans or larger motorhomes: On the outskirts of Skipton turn off the A65/A59 at the roundabout onto the B6265 (signposted Grassington); in about 7 miles in Threshfield do not turn right to Grassington but continue straight onto B6160 (signposted Kettlewell); in 1 mile turn left into leisure park entrance (CAMC site sign). In 250 yards take the second left into site road. Please adhere to earliest arrival time of 12:00 as the approach road is narrow in places.
