2017 Rallies

Have a look here but you probably won't see updates for 2017 yet.

I would of thought that most centre's websites should be showing their 2017 programmes now or very soon not sure when the club's list is updated.  

Checking Centres websites is the best advice where some already have their 2017 rallies listed albeit they may be incomplete and awaiting updates.  Some Centres who list their rallies have dates when you can't book before.

Pleased to see the Rally and Centre searches on the new web site are now working. They are listed in the Membership Section and you can see what's on for next year, some are provisional at the moment.

Hardly any rallies have been added so far... I was looking earlier. Most of the local centres have them on their websites but it means a bit more trawling through the sites to see what's coming up. 

There was a cut off date of 25th November for Centres to enter their rally details for 2017.  Perhaps they are being withheld until the rally booklet that accompanies the monthly mag. is produced.

If you click here you will be able to search all rallies for 2017. Make sure you use the rallies tab on the page and if you leave the location blank and put in dates from today to the end of the year you will be given a full list.

OMG where to begin:

1.  Without the link it is almost impossible to find the relevant section. From the home page you have to go to what's on /search what's on.  This defaults to caravan club events.  There is a tab halfway down the page you need to select to get to centre rallies.

2. When you finally get there assuming you haven't lost the will to live.  If you want to search it would appear that for the first part of the year it defaults to the 01/04/17.  Which appears to think is the 4 January 2017.  I have tried this on two computers.  By coincidence I wanted to search which Rallies were running in April as this threw up this fault.

3. Assuming by this stage the Samaritans have talked you out of ending it all if you do a search at will throw up all the rallies between Christmas 2016 and the end of April. 106 Rallies to be precise so you scroll through this every time you press the page advance at the bottom of the page it takes you to the top of the page why can't page advances be put top and bottom of pages?

4.  So when you finally get to the date you want.  The rally you are checking for isn't there.  So it is not at the time of posting a comprehensive list.

Before  you ask I know that this rally exists because I am running it.

Tracy, this rant isn't aimed  at you.  I am sure that the information you gave was in good faith.

Finally I would like to apologise to any individuals who find the R word offensive.

Click on Membership and go straight to Local Centres, I've just checked the Devon and Cornwall rallies and found what I wanted. See here, click on "find your nearest rally" (in red print, right hand side.)
