First centre rally done!

Back from our first rally with the South Glamorgan centre which took place at Gowerton (lovely site and easy to reach off the motorway). We were a bit worried about how we would be greeted by the centre but as we turned into the site, we were welcomed by Dave and Wyn, the rally marshals and escorted to our pitch and they helped us to reverse the van onto the pitch. The next day we we joined others in the Gowerton rugby club to watch Wales beat Italy (hooray!) and a great time was had by all. Sunday at 11:00 we all turned up with empty cups, to be filled by Dave and Debbie with tea and coffee plus a nice selection of biscuits! After the welcoming speech and the centre news was done, my wife and I were welcomed to the South Glamorgan centre and presented with our first rally badge. All the members came over for a quick chat and welcomed us. We now are looking forward to future rally's with the centre. Thank you South Glamorgan. You are great ambassadors for the Caravan Club.
