Just a thank you to Sandie, Alan, Martin and wife plus the others who helped make our weekend a very enjoyable one. We booked to attend the East of England Shire horse show and after four hours driving we reached the site. Now new members or those who are thinking about trying a rally for the first time take note. We knew no one there and in fact it was our first time in the area but upon stopping at the rally marshals van, we were greeted like old friends by Martin and another gentlemen (so sorry I forgotten your name!). We were then guided to our pitch and when we mentioned we were new caravanners, both of them helped us out. Martin even helped us with lighting the gas for the fridge. So a big thank you to the Hertfordshire centre and it's members and we hope to see you again next year!

So far we have been on a rally with our centre (South Glamorgan) and now one with another centre and each time made to feel welcome. So please take the plunge and try a rally with one of the centre's found around the UK. And you don't have to join in anything if you don't want to but then you will miss out on meeting some lovely people and making new friends. Roll on the next rally!
