A couple of years ago, I had a lovely few days at the Sutton on Sea site, and was pleased to discover the Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary just a short distance away by car.

Its free to enter, and you get the opportunity to see (and feed) all shapes on sizes of donkey (they even have Zedonks!)  They also allow dogs in.

I have been following them on Facebook, and they are currently struggling to cope as their dumper truck has died, and they are trying to raise funds for a replacement.

So, if anyone is going to be staying at Sutton on Sea, please try to visit:-

Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary, Church Lane, Huttoft, Alford, Lincolnshire LN13 9RB

Free admission although we do expect a donation, dogs welcome on leads, disabled access and toilets. Food and drinks available SORRY no picnics allowed, We sell food for you to feed the donkeys
PLEASE COME AND GIVE US SOME SUPPORT THANK

Website here: Radcliffe Donkeys

It would appear that they're not open until the 31st March, 1st and 2nd April, and only between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm on those days, so if you're in the area and planning an early season visit then check before setting off.
