Going to the Ball??

A few years ago when The Club held the last Ball, we never went. We were too slow to buy our tickets. So just like Cinderella we stayed at home, only to be told what a great night we had missed.

This year we were in the first few to get our tickets, determined not to miss out again, so it’s now down to the basics. Got to get a new frock and where are we going to stay! Well, we are running one of the Clubs three temporary sites that are catering for this particular event at Apps Court .The site is close to Walton-on-Thames, with access to the tow path and Sunbury Lock with nice walks and cycle rides from the site. Local transport passes by the site entrance; Hampton Court Palace is just a short walk away along the towpath. If you are interested in joining us please look in your Club magazine for full contact details.

Knebworth House is another Temporary site just off the A1 near Stevenage. This site is well worth a visit with lots of things to do on site as well as easy access to London. Sandie Evans is running that site and her contact details are in the magazine.

The third temporary site is Windsor Racecourse, set on the banks of the River Thames with the town of Windsor just one and a half miles away. It’s a great opportunity to see the many attractions of that area. Dave Grover is running that site and his contact details are in the magazine.

All three sites will welcome all Caravan Club members whether you are going to the Ball or not. They are all bookable for a minimum of two nights and offer the option of either base pitch or electric hook up pitch.

So if you are going to the Ball don’t leave it too late to buy your tickets. If you would like to join us on any of our temporary sites we would love to meet you.
