We stayed in my Romahome R40 on caravan club temporary site on Friday and Saturday night for the Spring NEC show. Firstly- congratulations to the wardens who did a sterling job under pressure of cold weather and were unfailingly pleasant. Howver I honestly feel that £30 is over the top for the facilities provided (especially as not interested in the marquee entertainment and bar). This time we were on the paved hard standing (previous occasions been on the mudddy/sandy areas which was awful when the weather was wet) but located close to a very noisy generator which became progressively noisier over Friday night until it finally packed in on Saturday at 8am. Unfortunately for us, the webasto diesel heating also decided to develop a fault at the same time, making it a chilly morning. I'm sure the poor wardens had plenty of people moaning, but it wasn't their fault and even before we headed for the show the company providing the generators were there obviously trying to fix it. By the time we came back after fighting our way round NEC on Saturday, power was restored but went off then on again at 1
