I have just booked a pitch at Sandringham Caravan Club Site for October /November, making it clear that we would be accompanied by our dog. It is only by looking at other review sites that I discovered that a deadly disease affecting dogs is prevalent in that and other wooded areas in Norfolk and Suffolk. I am going to cancel as we would not want to expose our dog to the risk. http://www.sandringhamestate.co.uk/news.asp?s=7&v=1&p=23

What surprises me is that the warden didn't mention the risk even though it is posted on the Sandringham website. In my view this is negligent and I am very disappointed that the Club is not more proactive in making members more aware of such a significant risk to our 4 legged best friend.
