Hi everyone,

Are you going to the The Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC? If so I hope to see you there!!

Just a reminder that this year tickets can only be bought online subject to availability and are not available to purchase at the gates.

For more information visit: The Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show

We have 2 adult tickets for the NEC on 26th Feb but have a 12 year old with us. We did not know we needed a ticket for him as children go free. The event is now sold out. Can anybody tell us whether we would be turned away at the door. We are travelling from Cumbria so will not attend if this is the case. What happens about returned tickets. We have not been able to contact See tickets to get advice from them.

Rob

The T&C's seem pretty clear, whilst under 15's are free they still need a ticket according to the T&C's:-

"Children 15 years and under go free when accompanied by a paying Adult/Senior but still require a ticket to attend."

I would carry on trying to contact them as they might be willing have a ticket waiting for you. I have picked up tickets from the Press Office in the past.

Ditto visiting Wednesday. It will be interesting to see how much they’ve restricted numbers this year, but one more step towards normality.

Going Thursday to look at awning alternatives. £1.25 delivery fee for an email is a rip off though

I thought the same David.  Wished I could get away with charging £1-50 for every email I send out...  🤣🤣🤣

Just had this email this afternoon, with this information....

In line with Government guidelines, you do not need to show evidence of your COVID-19 status to access the NEC. However, we encourage all visitors to:

  • Take a lateral flow test before visiting
  • Not attend the Show if you are feeling unwell
  • Wear a mask if it makes you feel more comfortable (available at the Show)
  • Use the hand sanitiser stations on entry and within the Show
  • Wash your hands regularly
  • Please respect fellow visitors and our exhibitors who may wish to socially distance

To help make the Show safer and more comfortable, we have made the following changes:

  • Wider aisles
  • Tickets have been limited to help prevent overcrowding
  • More seating areas, spread throughout the halls
  • Ventilation within the NEC has been improved

.....so they seem to have given it thought.  I guess much of it depends on the actions of those attending...
