Club spam postal mail

We are continually getting mail in the post from "get insurance" from the club to many other things. Why are they on one hand saying they are worried about their financial health (please support your club and renew)  at this difficult time and spend wasted money on postage and paper. Let alone the environmental impact of the paper.

For one thing as adults I believe we all look at the best deals on the internet including the club site and for another they can email us all their offers etc. Saving them money. Yes we can delete their emails, block them or list them as spam. My junk  is going  straight in the bin untouched  with no risk of covid-19.

How about they are paid to distribute such twaddle.  The club probably don't pay for the flyers to be inserted into the magazine packaging

The only thing I get in the post from the Club is the magazine and membership cards, all other communications are by email. The latter are read and either Deleted User or saved if thought to be of future use. I don't see a few seconds every few days as a massive waste of my life!!!

We do keep getting, why don't you join Mayday ones, although we have had it for years. I suppose it's a data protection thing, where the left hand isn't allowed to know what the right is doing.🤔

If you go to 'my profile' and then you can edit 'my communication preferences' and decide how the club contacts you

Donecry Do not remember such a comprehensive list when we joined in this last year as i am sure we would have marked many things as not wanted.
