Some seem to resent the freedom of us old farts as it is. Imagine if we paid less! wink

Lets be simple or the site will crash. Get rid of the multitude prices quoted and go for say three seasons. Extend the Mid Week discounts to all the sites with vacancies. That should benefit us old farts but make any discount available to all with no discrimination. The CC needs to be more creative. The next 2 outings by us is Morris Leisure using their 3 for 2 offers which makes them competitive with CC with mid week discounts. Loss of income again to CC. No age discrimination in their offer.

A lot of the extra price bands on some sites are simply because due to mid week discounts there is a different band at weekend from midweek.

Does it need writing ad infenitum. Dosnt alter the fact the whole pricing system is long winded and complicated. Suppose it keeps another tea drinker in work.

I suppose that whoever designed the layout thought that it gave the pricing system more clarity even though at first glance it looks complex. Either way it doesn't trouble me.

It does nor really trouble me either. However, on a phone, if you want to get to what's below it takes about 12 swipes, which is cumbersome and time consuming. A simple statement, as before, that the site had mid week discount with the dates is all that is required.

I agree the pricing profile appears unnecessarily complicated, but I can't really see why folk get so exercised about it. Surely the only relevant price is for the period you're trying to book, why worry about other times. And just maybe it's a response to the criticism levelled againstthe C&CC ( including by many on here) that their prices are not transparent enough before booking with them?

I suppose that a simple statement will be fine in a handbook - if and when it appears. On a website I have no doubt that whoever set it up felt that they had less spatial constraints for the layout

Your probably right in that assumption, especially if designed on a large computer, with mouse and scroll wheel. Using those it is very quick to zap through it. They probably just forgot how that would translate to a phone.☹️
